Shipping, Special Orders & Backorders
Shipped orders: Shipping costs are "calculated" which is based on the order weight/size and your postal code - you pay what we pay. Orders are shipped via Canada Post Expedited Parcel or UPS Standard and include a tracking number and complementary insurance up to $100. We only offer Canada Post shipping at checkout however as we get the best rates from them and is generally cheaper than UPS. We will ship your order with UPS if there are multiple packages per order, as Canada Post does not allow this, or if their rates are cheaper.
Handling time: 1-2 business days.
Shipping times: Within British Columbia: 1-3 business days. Everywhere else: 3-7 business days.
Special Orders/Backorders: If any item in your order is a Special Order or is backordered, your order won't be shipped until all products are in stock. If you'd like the in stock items shipped right away, please Contact Us. Additional shipping costs will apply.
Special Order items are items that we sell but do not carry in stock. Special Orders are placed with our supplier (based in the USA) on the 1st and 15th of every month. Sometimes we will place your order before that if possible, but if not we will always place it on either the 1st or 15th (whichever comes after your order date); lately we've been placing orders with our supplier weekly. The listed price is inclusive of any shipping and duties we incur - there are no hidden charges.
Please note: Special Orders will take anywhere from 15-30 business days from the time you place your order with us to the time you receive it. Your order will not ship until all products are in stock. If you'd like the in stock items shipped right away, please Contact Us - additional shipping charges will apply. If the product(s) you ordered are backordered with our supplier, we will email you with an ETA.
Backordered items are items that we carry in stock however have temporarily ran out of inventory. Although rare, this can occur if we get large orders unexpectedly. If you place an order that shows an item as backordered, your order will be fulfilled on a priority basis when that item is in stock. At this time we do not have a system in place with backordered ETA's, however you can Contact Us to inquire about when an item will be back in stock.
